Improv Get Togethers
These iconic workshops are a great stressbuster and a lot of fun. Improv helps with creativity, personality development and it’s a great way to network.
As a volunteer you will be involved in helping organize these workshops and you might get a chance to work with your favourite influencer or social media personality.
Desi Open Mics
These unique events organized by Laal Button showcase a wide variety of local talent including singers, poets, comedians, magicians and more.
As a volunteer you will be involved in helping organize these events and making sure things go smoothly on the event day. You may be working in event promotion, setup on event day, greeting event attendees. Every single one of these events is fun packed and full of surprises. If you have a creative itch and you don’t know where to get started, this would be the right place. Artists who have met through these events in the past have ended up working together creating songs, music videos and even telefilms.
Brampton Stand up Comedy
Do you have a love for comedy just like we do? Come join us in this unique project to create unique Stand up Comedy events in Brampton.
You will be working on very new and exciting projects with comedians that have credits from JFL, Netflix, Comedy Central, CBC and more.
Another opportunity to join us in 2021 for our first iteration of a one of it’s kind theatre festival “Satrang” which is a one act theatre festival showcasing South Asian stories. This festival will showcase original stories from Brampton presented by the artists of Brampton.
