Feature Film

Taking another step forward in the Digital Media Arts domain, Laal Button is proud to be announcing a Feature Film which touches on aspects to life of South Asian immigrants. The film will showcase diverse voices and provide unique opportunities of work for artists of color.

Writer: Sunny deewana

Sunny has been credited with writing and directing many short films and is now working with award winning writer Daniela Saioni to learn the art of writing for screen writing specifically for the full feature.

Awards

In 2020 Daniela organized a 5 day premise writing competition and Sunny placed first among a pool of 70 writers internationally.
The Ontario Arts Council has also awarded Sunny with a grant for developing his skill set as a writer.

NEXT?

As the writing phase has started, we are simultaneously looking at funding sources for the production of the pilot.
